In the Classroom: Working Out of the Box

True Kelly subbed for Katrina Plato’s art class at Harrris Middle School. True worked from one of her own lesson plans (called “Working Out of the Box”) but referenced journal entries the students had been working on. The students worked on collages using their own drawings and a collection of printed images that True brought with her – making images that continued themes from their journal entries.
