Pat Benard subbed for Ms. Hundley’s art classes at Bowman Middle School. She was asked to use clay with the 6th and 8th graders, but to do something else with the 7th graders since they had worked with clay the previous week.
Pat gave the 7th graders a demonstration of the principles of perpective and showed them how to paint a picture using overlapping placement, etc. Students then painted on their own.
6th and 8th graders made pinch pots and coil pots – with much enthusiasm.
