In the Classroom: Painting

Kerstin Davis subbed for Ms. Plato’s art classes for 4 days at Harris Middle School, allowing her to do a very rich painting project with the students. They worked on painting from observation, content, color mixing, and working with complementary colors. Students worked on underpainting on the first day, and then finished their projects with overpainting the final three days.
